Flame warFirst driver banned from iRacing
A poster reported that Brian Zerkle had become the first person banned from iRacing for disruptive behaviour. The discussion became an argument about whether iRacing's real-name policy endangered members' safety, with several posters mocking the privacy concerns. Actually he may reach troll nirvana if the IRacing community keeps turning
his last name into a verb. Ah well just another victim of his own mouth

Great, now that you know his real name you can look him up and go punch his
lights out for being a troll.

But now that you know his real name someone could. Now do you get my point
of why using your real name is a bad idea? The developers are putting
people's safety at risk and also don't care about privacy. I bet they are
even breaking privacy laws by forcing people to use their real names in the
sim.

No one is being forced, you fool. Don't like it, don't sign up. Anyway, when
he get murdered you will be proved right.
I the meantime, don't forget to adjust your tin foil hat.
Just out of interest, what are your views on 9/11 and the moon landing?

It could also just show why acting like an asshole is a bad idea.

No one is forcing you to want to play a game. Do you use an assumed name
when you go to a bar, as well? And hide behind a mask, in case someone
recognises you when they see you on the street?

Yes, if I suspect there could be trouble, I use a fake name, like Phil Newnham.

Hi Ronald,
as far as I can tell from my experience, the site works ok in Firefox
so this might be an option (even on Linux, apart from the racing bit
that is of course ;-)
Cheers, Uwe
