FPU CO-PROCESSOR?????

Somebody PLEASE tell me what a "FPU CO-PROCESSOR" is??? I NEED TO KNOW!!!!!! HELP HELP HELP! Tom Wardell

The 486 SLC or SX did not have one. ..and are you sure you HAVE TO SHOUT???? It's not that critical, is it? Sounds like someone's dyin' for lack of a math-co. Mike -ah, well.
