All,
I feel that the upcoming release of NASCAR 2, will not be "all" it's
suppose to be. Meaning, wow, a couple of tracks revised, a different
GUI interface, clouds and sun, different paintkit scheme, a different
graphics engine, and a crew chief, BUT no change in setup options!
That really is terrible. No change in the physics model. That really
stinks. I feel it will just be a redone NASCAR, nothing special only
for NRL, whoopee. ; (
I am already bored of NASCAR now. Anyways, I prefer Indycar2 over
NASCAR, nowadays.
I would like to see more setup options to add some realism. But I know
it's not going to happen. ; ( I am willing to wait for it, if there is
a change in the physics engine. No rush. But Papy has a deadline to
meet.
As for the, "Verite Rendition" chip, big deal! There is "only ONE"
manufacturer that is going to use, ala Creative Labs. Wow, boy will
there be a big support for this chip!! Number Nine "Dropped" the idea
of using it!!
Now who would you believe, a sound card manufacturer or a manufacturer
that specializes in graphic cards?? Hmm..I wonder...
BTW, the "Voodo" chipset, from what I have read, will be a whole lot
better than the "verite" chipset.
I really like the ET6000 and the Matrox boards, I just wonder how they
will do when NASCAR 2 comes out. Hmm..
Don't even bring up Diamond, I have read too many bad things about
them!! Arrghh!!
