Request Help: T2 Pedals Reversed in F1GP2

7 posts by 6 people · 04 Aug 1996 - 09 Aug 1996

I'm using the T2.CON from the F1GP2 CDROM. For some reason, my gas and brake pedals are reversed. The gas pedal applies the brake, the brake pedal applies the gas. How do I correct this?

You need to check the box with contro ldriven calibration. Then when you calibrate the T2, it will ask you to steer, and accelerate etc, rather than apply full left on joy 2 etc. It will then work out, I had the same problem. Chris F

be checked that says something about calibration (not the big thing but a small box) click it then calibrate and it will say turn left, right, accelerate, and brake and that should work.

Try calibrating the pedals backwards. In other words, when it asks you to go all the way left, go right. I forget which one is which, but a little experimentation will get you there. It worked for me. Dave

I forget which one is which, but a : little experimentation will get you there. It worked for me. This is the proper method for using the T1 or T2 in GP2. Make sure that you run the calibration after setting it up. From the main menu of Grand Prix 2: 1) Select "Control Method." 2) Select "Not Used." 3) Select "Advanced Menu." 4) Select "Joystick A Horiz" for Steering Device. 5) Select "Analog" for Steering Mode. 6) Select "Joystick B Horiz" for Acceleration Device. 7) Select "Analog" for Acceleration Mode. 8) Select "Joystick B Horiz" for Brake Device. 9) Select "Analog" for Braking Mode. 10) Select "Control Driven Calibration" for Control Method. Do not touch any other settings. You can edit the set name to say "T2" or "TMaster" and then save the file. Now calibrate the device, and your T2 should work. -- **************************** Michael E. How many times do I have to tell people. Make sure the control drivern apllication box is checked. Then when you calibrate the T2 it will ask you to steer/brake/no brake/throttle/no throttle etc, and all will be ok. Chris Fisher
