Does any one have any init string (s) for a US Robotics Sportster
28.8 modem. I have tried all the default strings and a string from the
IRMUL homepage but nothing seems to work.

The string from the IRMUL page is the one I use. The only problem is
that you can't connect at 28.8. 19.2 seems to work fine for me, but I
have never been able to get 28.8 to even initialize the modem before
dialing. You may want to try 14.4 or 9600 until you find a connection
that works.
