I need major help with Martinsville for Nascar Racing. I get awful tire wear on my right front. Usually, the temps for that tire are up in the 260's/270's. Against the computer I have to take it slow because if I race hard for 25 laps, the tire may even be in red. What could I do in the setup to help this? I can get the poll and everything but I usually end up in the mid 20's at the end ( as long as I don't get in a wreck ). Help me, please! -- Go USA!

Sounds like you need to loosen up the car a bit. Try one or all of the following: 1. Reduce cross-weight 2. Increase rear bias 3. Soften RF shock 4. Loosen RR shock FWIW, my tires at Martinsville usually run in the red (250-260 degrees with temp at 87 degrees). The important thing is to get a neutral setup that doesn't fry the RF tire, but also let's you get off the corner without getting loose. I can run 98-99 MPH laps for about 40-50 laps before the speed starts dropping off. Dave "davids" Sparks Late Nite League http://www.sequoia-dev.com/Hawaii/latenite.html
