I'm still relatively new here so if I seem ignorant it's because I am. :-) Am I to understand that NRL is going to be available via the internet therefore eliminating the long distance fees as in Hawaii? That's what I seem to be getting out of the posts that I've been reading. Is that right? TIA P.S. Nope....The 'Net is toooooooooooo slooooooooooow. For NRL you'll want latencies of .15 or less. Can't happen on I'Net. Mike
writes Oh yes it can. I have latencies of 0.055s within Europe, and 0.110s to the USA - that's better than I get dialing in to Hawaii. Cheers! ...and we're sitting on the edge of our seats! :-) It's a bit like waiting for Christmas. After the "taste" of Hawaii (and the subsequent phone bills), I'm on the edge of the only remaining seat in my house. :-) I hope you are having some fun getting this ready for the market. I imagine it should spearhead a new era in how we play games. Someday, we won't even think of playing a game against a computer opponent. Maybe ALL games will just "link" to the world *** net.... Mike -just think...
