My first guess is that you have played it over the modem at least once.
This is where I have noticed this the most.
For example, my best time at Pocono over the modem is 675mph!! My modem
racer has a best time of 14s at Elkhart Lake. That SMOKES!!!!
It does seem to happen most frequently during a modem session, but you
won't notice it until after the session is over. I have not seen it solo,
but that doesn't mean it can't happen that way.
