How do you accelerate in gp2? I push a but Idon't go nowhere!

Same problem here. I selected keyboard but pressing A does nothing. If it did
accelerate I would run over the guy pulling me out to the track. At this point I have to
reboot.

Good advice, if that doesn't work...
I Don't have the original post. I hope the following is relevent.
I had a few frustrating minutes when I selected joystick as the
control method for my T1 Wheel.
Selecting "Not Used" let me select the "B joystick".
I hope this helps solve your problem.

make absolutely sure that you have passed the copy protection check. if
you tried to crack your game so you wouldnt have to put your cd in the
drive, sorry - but you messed up, try again.
