Is it me or is the computer even at rookie level very very good, I can't if get in the top 15 when playing this game, any ideas on how to beat the computer?

This is one "failing" of the game - there's no "easy" level for beginners. While this may be "realistic" it isn't fun, certainly for the 12-year-old I saw trying it ... The first thing to turn off to improve is the auto-brakes, as these are too cautious and also prevent you going much off the racing line for passing maneuvers. Obviously car setups are important too (see the manual, but the basic trick is to reduce wing and stretch the gears on a fast track, and the opposite on a slow one). I use full computer control to learn circuits - also ride with the other cars to see what they do. -- Tim Chown | GD Review http://www.gamesdomain.com/gdreview

Err, drive quicker? ; ) Seriously, a good setup is essential to compete at the higher levels Mark _________________________________ "..every lap I think `Oh bollocks!
