I am experiencing problems with my NFSSE which I do not have in NFS.
While racing, the game has momentary stalls in both DOS and WIN95. In
the dos mode the mouse/joystick jumbs all around, making it impossible
to select cars, tracks etc. but functions fine in racing. In win 95
mode the video has popping about every 2-3 seconds during play but the
mouse/joystick is OK. I did all the things EA suggested in the HELP
option (vcache, CD-ROM caching etc) but no change. Has anyone else
experienced problems with NFFSE in dos or WIN95? I have the latest
direct X drivers from ATI for the mach 64 with 2 megs VRAM on a P100
with Toshiba 4X CD-ROM. I used the joystick utility supplied by EA.
Again the NFS works just fine even with the cheats.
