Better!!! Werner

It seems to be quite playable in SVGA with all details on a Pentim 90/16MB. Maybe a Monaco track is exception. And if you have 486/66, first buy faster motherboard! You can take more fuel or change tyres. And you must inform pit-crew before you are going there! With joystick, i think it is not bad. YES it is! Regards, Antti

Hi Antti! Did you play GP2 an a P90 with SVGA and all Details turned on? Then I must really say: Congratulations! I played it on a P100 (a very fast one) and the first thing I did was turning resolution to VGA - it definetly wasn`t playable in SVGA! Even on a P166 with skytextures on it is very slow. But with sky turned off SVGA looks very impressive on a P166. On a P120 I think SVGA could run with some more textures turned off. Jan

It seems that 'playability' is a matter of opinion. I have a P120, 32MB and Millennium 4MB WRAM, and in order to play in SVGA I have to turn most of the objects and textures off to get decent frame rate. GP2 seems to be much more fps-oriented when it comes to 'sense-of-speed'. Anything less than 20fps isn't sufficient for me. I play in SVGA (hate the fuzzyness of VGA) with low graphics until it's time to upgrade ... -- Henrikki (Hena) Hakkanen Tel. ?(9)0-345 5538 ------- The best way to accelerate a Mac is 9.81 m/s2 -------- -------------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: Opinions expressed here are mine and does not necessarily reflect those of my employer!
