My rig:
- P166
- 32Mb
- Matrox Millenium 2Mb
- SoundBlaster 16

I reinstalled the game on another drive and it works now.
It seems the soundcard setup does not work at all if it
fails during the install. This might have been because I
didn't have the sb drivers loaded at the time (many games
do not require them).
Thanks for the two helpful emails I got.

Hi,
What are the settings for your SB16? are you using IRQ10 by any
chance? try to select manually SB8 and see if that works. We had no
problems at all with the SoundBlaster cards as long as they are
configured correctly.

Isn't the card.

My SB16 PnP was autodetected & works just fine on 220 5 5.
Seems (GP2) selects high DMA (default).
