If this is the only probelm (i.e. the T2 calibrates and drives right) just press the 'J' key, it will turn off the joystick control of the menus. -- Emory University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences Nascar Setups Page: http://userwww.service.emory.edu/~ebusch/ Hawaii Network UserName: Buschwick
[snip] : But, my airplane games were also calling me. I have FS5 and Aces : of the Pacific. I tried switching cables a coupla times, but the : way the CPU is pushed under the desk makes that a chore. So, I : finally went out and got a Y-cable, and plugged them both in. [snip] : Then, I booted up Nascar. The scrolling cursor was all over the place. : I figured out that it was responding to the Y-axis on the joystick. : Previously, I had used the arrow keys to move it around. I played with : the centering adjustment on the joystick but couldn't get the cursor : to settle down. Finally, I unplugged the joystick and everything worked : great. Sounds like dueling joysticks. The cheap solution for me is to buy a Joystick extension cable (found mine at Software Etc.). This gets my joystick port out from behind the computer, next to the wall, and covered with cables -- out front where I can easily unplug one unit and plug in another. Others have gone out and bought a joystick switch-box. : -- : When you die, no matter how rich you are, the size of your : funeral will pretty much be dictated by the weather. -- **************************** Michael E.
