I don't think this is going to do much good since Sega is fairly
diverse. At this point we really can't be upset at Sega. They
purchased the license and they should be able to use it for the duration
of the contract. Come January 1, 1997 though we will know who our
friends are. If NASCAR doesn't license the track to Sierra, we should
then boycott Daytona, for all the good it might do. I for one have long
since given up the desire to drive at Daytona. I'd rather have a
totally unique track just for NRL. Then see if Bill France tries to
copy it in real life. Then we can 'just say no'.

I agree we should stop buy any Sega stuff intill Sega lets us use Daytona
for Nascar Racing!

anytime soon, but me and lots of others saw "The King" playing the REAL
Daytona at Daytona USA. I thought that someone could go there, get onto the

Of course, if we'd get caught, well be in jail cause of crazy SEGA and Daytona
have to be so strict and cant put out something on a video game. I've thought
about it and wondered why they are so strict? How would having Daytona out on
a game hurt them? I figured they knew people were gonna try to get it out on
the game so the said, "Hey, why dont we not allow them to get Daytona on
Nascar Racing so when they try to put it out we can sue em and get money."
This is my view and I might get in trouble for saying it, wouldnt doubt it if
SEGA or Daytona heard me say this. One more thing, lets not buy or do ANYTHING
for SEGA unless they give out Daytona. Lets boycott them!!!
> Just a clarification. the license goes through April, 1997.
OK. All I had heard thus far has been 12/31/96. Sorry.
