7 posts by 7 people · 06 Jul 1996 - 09 Jul 1996

What am I doing wrong... whatever I try I only get VGA grafics at ICR2.. The opening sequence is VGA and when I change things in de grafics options menu I stil only get Vga grafics... A little bit strange considering I'm playing the game on a P100 with 16 mB.... Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong ???? greatings Patrick

Make sure you launch the game with the -h extension. This is how you specify svga. Use the command "indycar -h" to run the game in SVGA. Mike

You must load the game using the -h switch (C:\Icr2\Indycar -h). _______________________________________ Tim Wortman NASS '96 Series Director Visit the NASS '96 home page http://www.webcom.com/twortman/nasscar/ _______________________________________

Type: Indycar -h This will start in High Resolution mode. Craig Marcho

If you have a configureable disk cache and make it larger than 4MBs, then you could be losing too much memory to support the SVGA. (I once did that.)

The -h is high RES(SVGA). This will get you into the High RES SVGA mode. Graphics menu just sets what detail you want on. There are other options also for sound etc. I hope this is what is wrong, Dave Thayer
