Greetings, I hope i am not going not pose a dumb question. The NFS-SE press release claims that there is going to be a time of day setting - morning, noon, nite, the back of the box art says so BUT i could not find this in the game at all nor is it written anywhere in the documentation or readme. Can anyone out there tell me whether this feature actually exists, and how can i enable it? Or have i been conned.

Um, mind I ask, NFS didnt start shipping until June 28th, how did you get it so soon? It had to be overnight express or something.

It had to be overnight express or something. I'm trying to get hold of a copy. Any one know where I can get it in the UK all the game shops say it's been put back. I've been going mad trying to get hold of a new NFS cd since I lost mine. I guess an upgrade would be even better. Any mail order places got it yet? Thanks Jeff

Don't know conversion factor but if it's a good deal maybe you could mail a few purchased sets this way :) Ron R II *********************************************** ** Keep the shiny side up & the hammer down ** *** Ron "Cougar" Riekens II *** **** Owner - Driver **** **** Medallion Motorsports/*** Photography **** *** NASS ARCA Series #96 Pontiac *** ***********************************************

And the Win95 version does not work because Win95 cannot/will not recognize any joystick on my system. Joe

After playing around for some time today. I get my T2 works in both Win95 and Dos mode. First for Win95 is easy, you just go to control panel/joystick to config. your T2 (just pick a 2-button joystick will be fine). Then start the game in Win95, and calibrate the T2, then go nuts. For Dos, I have to use the JCU joystick utility which comes with the game. Run JCU and pick T1/T2 setting and just use that default (don't try to enable Z-axis ans R-axis) setting, and run the game, calibrate, go nuts. And the DOS/WIn95 version can be in the same directory, the way I did it is first install the Win95 in \NFSSE , then install the dos version in \NFSSED, and then just copy the dos NFS.EXE file into \NFSSE and rename it to say NFSD.EXE, finally deltree \NFSSED. Now, in Win95, use NFS.EXE, in Dos, use NFSD.EXE, can even write a little batch file to have a different nfs.cfg file for dos and Win95. Got to play more using my T2 now :) Janus

Have you tried the joystick program that was included on the NFSSE CD??? It is supposed to work for both DOS and 95 for calibration. -- MCP - Windows NT Workstation & Windows NT Server Husband to Kathy, Father to Conor, Slave to the Almighty Dollar

NFS (original and SE) never centered correctly on its own - If you have the ACM card from thrustmaster you can fine tune the center using the external pot. Works like a charm.
