it would be cool if you let us lock into a car. so leagues can make a custom car set and we can sign onto a specific car each week. does anyone know what i am saying or is it real confusing? well it would be cool i think

What if when this really gets going with Nascar2 that everyone up loads there own car design to the network. When you enter a race in the hawaii network everyone sees your car Pcx's and not just the ones with the Hawaii set.

THAT WOULD be cool because then when im in my league race i will be racing my car with my sponcer and everyone on track will see it.

> THAT WOULD be cool because then when im in my league race i will be racing > my car with my sponcer and everyone on track will see it. It would take several minutes to download the appropriate carset before every race. I don't think you want this hassle and expense. David Martin

yes but not for pickup races just for league races we all would have the carset installed we would just have to be able to choose what car we would want to drive in. So if i like a ford i know i will be driving that car. plus that will look good for the nascar league it would enable sponcers to get thrown into this deal.

Just a guess, it should work. Gregory Fung Vancouver, B.C., Canada

shooting through ***space: I think that'd be a good idea for leagues, where sponsors wouldn't be replicated (imagine in a pickup race about 15 Goodwrench Chevies and you'll see what I mean), but to get REAL sponsors, real money, etc. into NRL would be disaster. You think paying to race Hawaii costs a lot NOW... -- IWCCCARS Project Coordinator http://www.xmission.com/~iwcc/project.htm Hawaii Racer ID: IWCCCARS

I did not mean for real sponcers and real money I just mean our own custom cars. example I drive a car sponcered by JOLT and Hooters. I think it would be cool just to race in my league with that car and always be able to race it. and we cant sign in in a same order each week because a few drivers have not showed up each and every week. besides it was just an idea

Yea, but why would Joe's Lawnmower Shop in Raleigh NC (just an example), want to sponsor a car where praticaly no one in his service area would see it? See what I mean? At a local track, you have people from that area there watching, so a local sponsor would benifit from this. But on Hawaii, I just don't see it. Mike

Joe's Lawnmower Shop could supply my motor and wheels! That whirling blade would be great for the slower drivers who wont move over. Maybe we could get a television hook-up and race prime time. Roseanne's time slot would be my choice! 8-) Terry ----
