Can this possibly be true? Everyone here seems to bring up this same
date. However, I must be wary. For many times my hopes have been raised
high, only to have SH-MPS dash them upon the rocky shores of Crackerbox
palace. After all this time, this game had better be devoid of bugs. I
fear that if this release date happens to be false I shall get so mad
that my head will pop off and fly around the room making rude noises
until all the air is out of it.

I think that is very wise. ALL the dates I've seen quoted have been
completely unofficial I reckon, either from shops or by word of mouth.
What I'm *not* looking forward to is the imminent crescendo of "Where
is it?", "They're late again" or "Microprose, you .... [fill your own
choice of words in here]" etc. Which I don't think it is very fair.
I have to admit I'm hoping as much as the next person that the general
concensus on the 28th (for that is all that it really is IMHO, a
concensus of our opinion) turns out to be true after all, but I can
wait. Anyway, the longer I wait, the better a PC I upgrade to, and the
better I can play GP2 with!!!

But they did give "cast iron" assurances to various magazines (PC Zone
for one) that the game would definitely be out on [insert date here].
Will GP2 be another Battlecruiser 2000ad?
I already upgraded my machine to play GP2..... 7 months ago! :( How
strange a world it is, eh?
