All,
Apologies that The Pits hasn't been updated for a while.
At the moment with social commitments and trying to get my race car
back on the road (anyone got a spare engine?), I don't have much time
to sit down at my PC and type.
However, I am slowly getting things done.
The next update will hopefully be around the end of the month (June)
and will be the June/July issue.
Heres what you can look forward to:
1) Daytona - It's not going to be released, however you can read the
full story and some of the dialogue I've had with Daytona. Hopefully
if it arrives in time via snail-mail, there will also be an official
statement from Andrew Gurtis about the situation.
2) Workshop - I've several new utilities and files for the workshop
including K.I.S.S, the 1996 BTCC carset.
3) New Service! - Despite a small bug in the CGI script, it will
possible to have files sent to you via e-mail automatically. Several
people, especially those in Oz have complained of slow download times
from both the US and UK sites. You will be able to select a file and
it will then be UUencoded to you.
4) And a whole lot of other stuff too.....
Thats all for now.
Jed
