Hi everyone,
Some problems with access speeds on the new site, mainly due to me
nicking all the RAM to do rendering with in another PC :) Flooded by e-
mails of complaint, the following has been done :-
1) UK site has been upgraded to 20Mb, switched to a faster PC, and
changed to NT OS and server software. It should now be faster than
Schumacher in a Williams.
2) To cut out the problem of those busy transatlantic lines, a great
offer from Jim Harmon to mirror the site in the US. That should keep all
you US racers nice 'n fast. Thanks Jim!
The sites are :-
Europe/ROW : [link lost in import]
USA Mirroe : [link lost in import: /~harmon/simnews]
Test them out, and if there are any problems, just give me a shout. One
problem I do know, the DOWNLOAD version of the June mag DOESN'T contain
the GP2 Pics (oops!). If you want to see those look at the mag on-line
until I can fix the site this weekend.
Cheers!
John
