Does anyone know where I can find a (not to difficult) guide for building
my own steering wheel and/or pedals? If anyone has some experience,
please share it with me.

Here's a message on home-built wheels I copied from the internet:
Hello, just a reminder to check out my site, Wally'sWorld, at
http://www.oz.net/~wottenad/wheel.htm for info on building your own
wheel and pedal set. I've added more photos of other setups, more
plans, and links to some FANTASTIC sites that detail full motion bases
with controller hardware and software (tech info link section). Also,
if anyone has done their own controllers, whether scratchbuilt or a
modified version of an existing control, please feel free to email me
and I will gladly post your info on my site... Have a good one!

ps: although Wally'sWorld is an official IRL free zone, out of a sense
of fair play I have added Tony George's official Indy portrait to my
site - check it out!
