Recently while racing a friend via modem we discovered that qualifying gets
really messed up. We have IMS converted with the track converter. The
problem is that both players get the green flag/checkered flag at the same
time. Whoever starts their run first seems to control the timing. My friend
got an incredible lap speed of 457.xxx mph and was placed last on the grid.
Also, one of the computer cars (Jimmy Vasser in our car set) decided to blow
past the pace car and put half a lap on us at the start. Never did get a
black flag either.
