Maybe I should be posting this in alt.tv.x-files but anyway here goes.
Does anyone know why when the guts at The Pits were so close to
finalizing the DAYTONA patch suddenly someone representing DAYTONA
Speedway contacts the guys and tells them what for?
The main question I find interesting in all this is who told them
about the patch (the DAYTONA people that is) or have they been
monitoring this group for a while (if so don't be shy, most of us are
quite reasonable people and would be genuinly interested in hearing
your side of the story) ? My main suspects are the guys from PAPYRUS
(and probably rightly so with the interests of NASCAR2 in mind) or
....... well come to think of it I don't really have any other
suspects (green men ?). What do you think ?
Now that I have posed that question here is one for the guys at The
Pits.
You have stated that the DAYTONA patch was purely a cosmetic job on
C***te (I think, not important) plus some tweeking of the AI to be
more agressive and run 2 or 3 wide, now personally I can do without
the cosmetics but maybe you could release a patch to alter the AI for
some tracks !!! the precident has already been set with these types of
patches with no complaints from Rick or Ed or anyone else so what do
you think ?
I'll leave you to ponder.........
Anthony
