PC Gamer (UK) has got a great avi. file on its cover CD this month,its about a minute long.The first 30 secs are on board with Hill racing around Brazil I think, he loses it and ends up in a sand trap.The first thing that hit me was the sound, very good throaty roar and nice backfiring when changing down.The graphics are simply stunning although I don't think the avi file does them justice. Don't ask me to post it, it's about 18meg. Mark
It's on the Web - look back at posts from the last week, someone posted two or three different addresses. You'll be disappointed though, the game looks and sounds pretty good, but the AVI is awful quality and really doesn't show it off well. _________________________________ __ _____| |_____ __ _________| |__| :| John Wallace | |__| |_________ \ :| |::| :| Team WW Racing TSW | |::| | / > :| |::| :|_________________________________| |::| | < / :|__|::|____:/ Sim Racing News \.____|::|__| \ /_______:/ \::/ http://www.dcn.ed.ac.uk/pulse/index.htm \::/ \._______\

The video is of silverstone. There is just over 2 minutes of it, but its not perfect quality as its a little grainy (as most avi files) The glint affect of the cars are there, and the movement and rocking of the car off the track looks great especially from outside views. The marshalls animation on flag waving is looking good, although I still only have seen the yellow and green flag, no others. In the clip, there are a lot of retirements, I hope they don't crash out that soon on the finished article. The sound is impressive, screaching on corners, AI cars have a different tones on the external viewing. Shadowing on cars and bridges are in evidence, as well as helmet tint and movement. The external view zooms in and out.

Sounds fantastic. I cannot wait. I hope we in the US get the file on one of our game mags. (UK mags are just too expensive overhere!)

If the avi is all you're interested in (as I was) it is *much* cheaper to download the thing <g> Richard -- All opinions my own - they're probably wrong... but at least they're mine!
