Will 100% distance races be allowed in the final
version of Hawaii?
John Doe after 500 laps of Bristol mayhem:
(In a nice office with a couch. Big windows facing the
street letting rays of sunshine dance on a keyboard.
Next to the keyboard is a modem. Next to the modem is a PC.
Next to the PC stands John Doe. Next to him, a shrink.)
Shrink (looking incredulously at a box screaming NASCAR):
"Say again, how many yellows?"
John Doe (sucking on his joystick):
"Ehh, one. One green lap, that is."
Shrink:
"Yellows?"
John Doe (sucking on his joystick while looking at the traffic
jam outside the window):
"Two hundred and forty nine dollars and six cents."
Shrink:
"Many yellows, right?"
John Doe (counting on his fingers with the joystick***
over his shoulder):
"One hundred and thirty nine pit stops. I didn't***up one."
Shrink:
"What had happened if you had, ehh, screwed one up?"
John Doe (looking quite alarmed):
"Two hundred and forty nine dollars and ninety cents."
Shrink:
"Where are your mother?"
John Doe (looking around in the office):
"Boston, Massachusetts. Talking to Ed."
Shrink:
"Why exactly are you here?"
John Doe (perplexedly sucking on his joystick while looking at
that glorious modem):
"Have you ever visited Hawaii?"
