The worst accidents happen in places like Portugal where thousands of people are insane enough to stand right alongside (and even on!) the courses as drivers speed past fighting their cars for control. Totally insane, and regularly fatal. But that's mankind for you, pretty damned stupid given half a chance! Must be a nightmare for the drivers. It's hard enough worrying about you and your navigator without having to worry about spectators as well. Anyway, although rallying lacks the rather important element of racing against people and cars you can see, the "car v track" thing is pretty damned challenging. I'd still prefer to compete against other cars instead of gravel and tree trunks, but it's still a very challenging driving experience. Even at its worst it's easily as satisfying as hotlapping to work on your GPLRank. And finally it seems to have been simulated properly. Andrew McP
