I've been hacking around with my homemade wheel&pedals set, and came up
with something that might be of common interest: a lo-tech traction
control... it's basically a circuit which slows down the throttle
response in order to reduce oversteer when exiting corners.
I've only tested it briefly, but the results were pretty promising.
It's very simple to build if you know which end of a soldering
iron is the hot one :-)
Throw me a mail if you're interested...

Isn't traction control illegal in Indycars? ;)

I had a feeling that someone would point this out... no, it's not, if
you drive with a keyboard :-)
But for GP2 such a device would be in fact more realistic, don't the
real F1 cars have fly-by-wire throttles, which the drivers can control
themselves to get a smoother throttle response? Does anybody have any
idea if GP2 will include this, and of course a working pit speed
limiter, preferably a non-McLaren one ;-)
