7 posts by 6 people · 13 Apr 1996 - 18 Apr 1996

Hi folks! I need help in ICR2. Maybe there is anybody who is as nice and want to send me some car-configuration for the optimal and perfect car. And another question is that I didn't find the network mode in this game. Please answer. thanks, Wolfi

>>I need help in ICR2. Maybe there is anybody who is as nice and >>want to send me some car-configuration for the optimal and perfect car. There is no such thing, so much is dependent on the driver. When I don't know a course, I set all the shocks equal (around 60%), and equal wing settings too (try around 12 or so at Long Beach, although that may be way too slick for you- in which case go ahead up to 14 or so). Then I do a few laps while watching tire temps. Adjusting camber to get temps even across the surface of each tire. Like I said to someone else, having a good controller, like the T2 wheel/pedal combo, makes things a whole lot better, ICR2 seems to require such a thing. If you really want to try another person's setup, you can download some setups from this homepage: http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/ATB/ They certainly won't be easy to drive, but they will give you an idea of what can go fast.
Hi Wolf, I think papyrus may need some help too. This isn' driving ,it's more like disney on ice,i hope f1gp2 gets better!

Not to burstyour bubble Wolfi but this is a simulation. A great deal of the fun is figuring out the set up. I haven't found it yet but I've been watching this group for about a month, I bought ICR2 about a month ago. One hint that I found, optimal tire temp is 250 degrees F ============================================================= Herb Samek Indy Car T&S Amherstburg Ontario F1 Fan ==============================================================

^^^^^ ...I think you meant to say 'frustration' there... That's ok, it's a common mistake<g>. Eldred I am NOT paranoid. And why are you always watching me?!? Eldred Pickett

... on ovals. Optimum tire temp on road/street courses IS between 220 and 235.
