Me and a bud have been having one heck of a time trying to modem race. At first it was an initialization string (think I got one thats good now, direct from the manifacturer),now NASCAR (and IndyCar 2) are either crashing (WELCOME TO DOS), you know that yellow screen, or IF we actually do connect and all seems well, we go to the track and I (answering) have no control! The game ignores the T1 wheel, its just floored and cranked to the left! So there I go down pit row slamming between the wall and all the cars. Has any one else had these problems, and if so do you have any idea how to correct them? Also if any one has any ideas for getting Need For Speed to coperate with modem play. My bud dialed and I answered, we both locked up before either modem even initialized. I would perfer e-mail, but will check back here periodically.
