GP2 Hardware Requirements

Talked to a friend of mine in Germany today. In the newest edition of "PC Player" there is extensive review of GP2. The hardware requirements were indeed shocking. For example they menioned that to run GP2 in VGA mode (320X200) on a P90 it would only play somewhat playbale with half of the details turned off! SVGA is totally unplayable on a P90. He did have other examples of what you need for what detail level, but this alone I found quite shocking. Now I am of course somewhat skeptical since I have yet to see a game that doesn't run nicely in VGA on a dx4 or P90 with a few exceptions of course. I would assume that they tested the beta version which is obviously (hopefully) not optimized yet. If those, however, are in fact the correct results, then we (the majority who do not posess a penium 166 or pentium pro) are in for a big disappointment!
