Changing track records

Does anyone know how to change the track records that are shown on the screen when your at the menu during a race (the one that takes you to Replay, Garage, Next Session, etc.)? I thought that the records were in seconds, but they do not match up. If anyone knows, please help me, thanks!

All the records are in the records.txt file for that track. They are all in thousandths of seconds. On ovals, and perhaps some road courses, the reason they do not "match up" perfectly is because Papyrus *brilliantly* used wrong track distances in their calculating of speed in mph. For example, actual speeds at Loudon will tend to be about 3mph slower than what was shown. Josh Beaulieu
