Differences between this group and the Quake group!

You know, there's similarities between our situation (awaiting F1GP2, without a demo in sight), and that in the Quake newsgroup (awaiting Quake, without a firm release date for the demo/shareware). But ***y hell, there is a MUCH better atmosphere in this group; more sophisticated I guess. At least, in comparison, there's no "lamers", "lamo's", posts averaging 2 f***'s every line, constant flaming, or well reasoned arguments such as "Duke Nukem 3D is utter sh!te ... Quake is the best game ever" [Virtually nobody has seen Quake yet for those sports-fans who don't know about it]. You explain the logic in that last one please, because it was too subtle for me. I guess this is utterly irrelevant to life with ICR2 and Nascars at Laguna Seca, but I just wanted to get the thought off my chest. Thank you all, Stuart -- Stuart Booth ...
