He guys, Do you think it's possible that Geoff G. is working on a new car set for F1GPII, the 1996 Car Set for example. It could be a GREAT GREAT idea to have the 1996 cars and the Game for the mid of March at the beginning of the new season. I must admit that i'll have a lot of difficulties to motivate myself to beat the boys in the 1994 cars. All will be so new this season. I'm sure not... but, if someone from Microprose is reading, please give us some infos ... Regards, Vince.

No. If he would do this than he would have to change the driving characteristics of the car. Remember, in 1994 they drove 3.5 ltr engines and the cars had much more downforce. And I don't think Geoff G. will change just the graphics of the cars and leave the AI unchanged. Cheers, Harald

Fat chance of a response from MPS here, but they are a little more responsive on their Web site. Well thats all very well, but the cars look different in 96! Have you seen the new McLaren? In keeping with the new***pit sides regulation it has two huge raised sides at either side of the cckpit! Geoff would have to change the car's styling. -- --------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------

I read on the webchat pages at the Microsoft WWW site that an expansion CD for GP2 will be released containing 96 Drivers and network multiplayer compatibility. The info was given by an employee at Microprose so I expect it to be true. This expansion CD will be released some months after the game though. Torgeir

Well, a model is something which can be changed. Hence the announced '96 update later this year (hey hey, we are talking about an update of a game yet to be released...) ----------------------------------------- - This message was brought to you by - - - "Gnag, voah wnag" -----------------------------------------

Yeah kind of... there are apparently 2 different models in the game - Raised nose. Low nose. Apart from that, the cars are all the same [apart from the paint jobs of course]. Dave Bowers
