Ok. I've been trying to get Nascar Racing to work over an ipx ***
network. I've heard that NETBIOS.EXE is required and with that I finally
got it to recognize that there was a network. We still couldn't get a
connect going though. We first tried both using NASCAR -N:0 and setting
our userid's to 0 within the multiplayer race submenu. That didn't work.
Then I set mine to -N:0 and he set his to -N:1. I set my userid internally
to 1 and he set his to 0. That didn't work either. We tried just going to
the same track and we tried doing the dial/answer thing and neither worked.
When we tried to dial or answer the machine would lock up for about 30 to
60 seconds and then state that it was awaiting the other player. Needless
to say, the other player never showed up. I know the network connection
was good as we had just been playing Doom ][ and Duke Nukem 3D on it.
I really think it's very crappy of Papyrus to implement network support
and then not document it. I feal that they should immediately remedy this
with a help file of some sort.

They never really implemented it. It's not documented for the fact that they
haven't perfected it yet. I think it's very crappy for people to complain
about things that aren't ready for use yet.
