It starts of with the usual DOS lines about versions, etc. It then tests the memory, reported OK. The screen then clears as if about to shift to the SVGA screen. The program then appears to have complete its run, no errors or anything reported. I've re-installed the whole game to ensure nothing here. I've shifted car sets, I've tried these names as parameters for the command line paintkit.exe. No joy! It obviously works for most people.....anyone else had this. Anyone got any solutions? To tell you the truth, I think it says 'mouse not installed' if you haven't stuck the driver on. I have encountered this when my car dat file was corrupt. It started as though it would work and finished as though it had worked, only thing is... it didn't work! Download a new car file, see if it works then. If not, one of your pcx files that paintkit needs is either missing or corrupt [sczoom, scdecal etc. all in the Nascar\Paintkit\ directory] if you want I'll e-mail them to you zipped up! -- --------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------

Followed up this idea though.....but all the .pcx anf .fnt files in the paintkit directory are the same as those on the cd. Hmmmmm Any other ideas? (anyone?)
