Nascar/Win 95

I am able to use Nascar in MS-DOS mode, but my question is when you exit the game does it always reboot the system? Is there a way for it to go back to Win 95? Thanks for any help. "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

I always thought it goes back to Windows (95) automatically after Nascar (after rebooting). If you want to run Nascar in Windows, find the Nascar.pif (shortcut to Nascar), right click on it, select "properties", "Program" tab, check the "Close on exit tab", click on the "Advanced" button (still in the "Program" tab), then UNCHECK the "MS Dos mode" box. jf So.X

says... The reboot process seems to part of the procedure required for WIN95 to get back into its native mode. I have several DOS games configured under WIN95 and they all reboot before and after they run. -- "Just turn and burn fellas...They'll just have to drive around the mess left behind..." Julio C. I know, that's why I posted this work around. NO msdos mode needed and no boot disks. Run NASCAR under a Window in WIN95. -- Lannie Schafroth

Run NASCAR under a Window in WIN95. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ By definition, _this_ must make NASCAR run slower. I guess it's a question of ease of use or running the program at max speed.

I have a semi-fast computer and I don't mind playing under Winblows 95. It allows me to run other programs in the background as well (CD player, etc.)... -- Proud owner of a NexGen 586 and a USRobotics 33.6k v.everything modem. -- *****The WINGMAN*****
It definetly does slow things down. I usually have ALL graphics enabled, but under windows I had to turn off a few things. -- Lannie Schafroth Pathworks Network Administrator Iowa Network Services, Inc.
