Who is this Dale Earnhardt guy anyway ?

Over here in the UK, Sky Sports 2 will be showing live coverage of the Daytona 500 next week. I've never watched a Nascar race before - being the F1 nut that I am - but since I got my steering wheel last November I've really got into Nascar (the game) and plan to watch the race. Trouble is, I don't really know anything about the actual drivers. Would any Nascar fans like to give me a brief rundown of who's hot and who's Michael Andretti :) in Nascar ? Thanks in advance

Jeff is Mario's nephew and therefore Michael's cousin Jeff Andretti drove in the 1994 Indy 500 then the NASCAR race that was on the same day (Daytona????). As far as I know, that was his last indycar race
