hi. yesterday, i was looking at the files in nascar and came across the
calendar file. in it, it lists the schedule for the racing season. this
includes DAYTONA and INDY.
my problem is that i am trying to make these two tracks. no, not just from
scratch, but simply copying one set of track files eg. taladega and copying it
into another directory which i called daytona. i renamed the taladega.* files
daytona.* and i edited the information in the track info file (i cant rememebr
if the extension was .trk or .txt or something like that). anyway, it was able
to show the track name on the choose track screen but when i clicked on it, i
was unable to access it. it said it had a problem loading track file or
something like that.
my point is that i just want to have two tracks called daytona and indy in
addition to all the other tracks. can anyone tell me how i can change the
files so this would actually work.
please e-mail me with response in addition to posting on newsgroup
thanks
paul
