Well I have got to say I am mightily impressed with my Sega Rally on the Saturn. I have played and enjoyed loads of racing games, F1GP was/is great, Nascar is a blast, NFS was fun to slide about a bit, but Rally is stonkingly good. The concentration required to hammer the cars around extremely slidy tracks, constant counter steering on edge of traction is fantastic. Every time there is the challenge to shave a few 10ths of seconds of the laps. I was concerned that the joypad was not ideal, but once you put the game on a big TV you feel the slides, jumps and corners so much that your body is moveing about so much it feel like you have a steering wheel. I am not trying to start a PC/console war, but this game is fantastic. The ability to mess with the tyres and suspension and handling on the cars is great. The difference between the Delta and the Celica is very noticable too. The game play is excellent, the replays afterwards watching the cars slide around corners, dust flying up, suspension rolling, and the front wheels counter steering is very exhilerating, the music is quite neat too. Regardless of the flashy graphics, the 'feel' of this game is the most important thing. I think anyone half interested in racing sims should atleast give this a few goes, its a bit of an eye opener. The only thing missing is a real championship, but the time challenges, and trying to finish the arcade championship part of the game make this game really last. Anyone else out there enjoying the game as much as me? Cheers, Ian

Yes, Me ! I encourage all computer-drivers to experiments Sega Rally, as I did. Graphics are incredible, and the controls are excellent, even with a paddle. It's the good newsgroup to talk about this game, although the lack of a real championchip mode, nor race with more of 3 laps. Julien Van de S***e MPC

Yep, I sold my Sony Playstation and games just to get a Saturn for Sega Rally. It's my fave arcade game and I had the chance to play a 50% finished version of Sega Rally at Live '95 on the Hitachi stand, it amazed me that the Saturn could actually handle fast/smooth high quality 3D with good Textures when the like of VF were***poor (graphically) !! I don't regret getting rid of Sony at all, roll on a Manx TT Saturn conversion !!! ------------- | /"""\ MATT!| | | | | W | | | \_/ | | | Any resemblence of this picture to | \___/ / | any persons, fictional or not, is | | / | purely coincidental. -------------

Yeah, me. After playing the arcade version of Sega Rally I simply had to buy a Saturn and this game. The control of the car is absolutely incredible. Sometimes it feels even more realistic than driving a real car :-) Could you mail me your records so I can compare them to mine? Gerald PS: are you able to handle the Stratos on the Lakeside-track???
