THE IWCCCARS PROJECT
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CARS96 Released Ahead of Schedule
PROVO, UTAH (Release date: Friday, 19 January, 1996) -- Thanks largely
to efforts from Michael Gilbert and Pat Campbell, the IWCCCARS
Project's flagship line of Winston Cup car sets welcomed a new arrival
today.
CARS96, originally scheduled for a March release, was posted today to
the IWCCCARS Web Site at [link lost in import: /~iwcc/project.htm]
The set is a preliminary release and is expected to undergo several
updates prior to the beginning of the 1996 Winston Cup season, thanks
to a lack of released publicity photos available for some teams.
Contributions from Gilbert and Campbell significantly decreased
development time on the set.
The announcement comes on the heels of a major Web site conversion to
Netscape frames and a 15-megabyte upgrade in FTP storage space.
