Could someone please tell me what specifically the 121 patch fixes with respect to modem play. After I added the race track pack to my original version I have not been able to connect with my friend and play. Yes we both have the same tracks. We connect but then are disconnected. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

I think the 1.21 patch was to fix an error in modem communications. If you get the error message, "Can't swap tracks" then it's a pretty good bet the 1.21 will fix your problem. Most likely only one of your computers will report this message. Remember, the two computers should always have the same version.
