I have setup my MS Sidewinder 3D Pro and selected SAVE OPTIONS, but
whenever I start the program it says I need to calibrate the joystick.
Anyone know how to get around this ? I can't find anything in the
manual.
TIA
Jeremy
BTW the joystick setup I use is as follows and I find it excellent :-
Steering - Joystick twist
Accel/Brake - Throttle
Gear Up - Fire 1
Gear Down - Hat switch up

As far as I know, you always have to recalibrate a joystick before you can
play. Some are self-calibrating (whatever that means). I think this is due
to the fact tha joysticks analog and thus you have to define to the
computer (who is digital, duuh) what is equivalent to what.
If I'm wrong, please correct me.
