Is anyone else out there having problems calibrating Virtual Karts and the Thrustmaster T2 with a Sound Blaster 16??? Mine pulls to the left and I have yet to get it straight. I called Microprose Tech Support and they say they have never heard of it. I seem to remember a bloke from the UK having a similar problem. Any fixes??? I am using the T2 WITHOUT the adapter for single joystick. Seems this is the only way it works at all. Gene Miller

I downloaded their piece of ***demo. I use the white adapter, and couldn't get it to recognize my T2. So I configured it as a joystick instead. It pulls to the left anyway. There's been a bunch of posts here; all of them claim the kart pulls to the left. If Microprose says they haven't heard about it, then they sure don't have anybody monitoring this newsgroup. I think MP missed the boat on this game. Great potential, rotten implementation. Siskel and Ebert give it two thumbs down...the game sucks. I'm sure glad MP made a playable demo available..saved me sixty bucks.. :) Neil

It pulls left also with a T1. Seems like a major flaw. ---------------------------------------- - This message was brought to you by - - - "Chapo!" ---------------------------------------

I have a T2 and a Gravis Joystick card and have not had any problems with calibration of my T2 with Virtual Karts. Also, I agree that the CD load time are really slow and the graphics can be slow too but I paid $40 bucks for this game and although it is not great, the AI is ok and it is fun. I have played the championship a few times. No it is not on the level of Indycar 2 but if you are interested in Karting and have a fast machine you might give it a try. I did load the entire 160 megs onto my hard drive to make the load times acceptable. Unlss you do that is is really slow. As is stated below, good idea, poor implementation. Joe

I have a TSW(this is the best steering wheel/pedal out there, no other compares to its quality and feel) and it pulls to the left as well. I have heard another person mention this in this newsgroup.

I have a T1 and experienced the same problem of pulling to the left. Crap!! My opinion of Virtual Karts! Can't believe this is from Microprose! Had to return it!

This game totally sucks. I would bet that they rushed it to get out before christmas since F1GP2 wasnt going to be out. Stupid Move!! Where is Microprose, I doubt we will hear anything from them on this.
