Has anyone had luck getting the CH Product Pro Pedals to work with Need For Speed? I've verified that the pedals are working with my Gravis joystick by using both with MS Flight Simulator. However I can't get the Pro Pedals in Car Mode to work with NFS. I think it has to do with the Pro Pedals mimicking a second joystick. Any help would be appreciated! - Collier
Quoted text (12 lines)>The Pro Pedals are indeed wired as the second joystick. This means >in order to get it working with NFS, you would have to wire up >your own adapter to convert the second joystick inputs to joystick 1's >Y axis. It was really stupid for EA to neglect the fact that many people >have a pedal setup. Fortunately Thrustmaster owners can use a supplied >adapter to get their pedals to work with games that support >only one joystick. I have a ProPedal setup and I was peeved to >find out that it wouldn't work with NFS (peeved at EA not CH) >Maybe if we get on their case, EA would release a patch to fix this >problem!!! >Ray >:x
Maybe it wasnt a smart idea for the makers of the Pro Wheel and Pro Pedals to design it to require two joystick ports. I have one of the best wheel and pedal setups, the TSW and it only requires a single port. I have used the T2 and it is designed to use a single port. It makes more sense right now to design the wheel and pedals to run on a single port, this way it will work with all games. Just My Opinion, Mike
