I was returning Fighter Duel Pro today, lo and behold what do I see
but ICR II. I bought it and I called a friend from the store and he
came and bought a copy. We played head to head for about an hour. I
had trouble with my modem (AT&T 28.8 internal), it wasn't in the list
of available modems. It took me awhile to figure out all the commands
to disable everything. One complaint: I liked the chat mode in the
first game. It's damn hard to type and drive at the same time. :)
Also my modem choked on the online registration. So far I think it's
a winner. Frame rate was smooth on a 486 dx 120. I had everything
set to auto and a minimum frame rate of 20 setup. Thinks blinked in
and out as usual but that's ok.
Later,
Beau
