I have a:
P-90 with 8 meg
Diamond stealth 64 w/ 2 meg.
The univbe with the Indycar 2 demo causes a HUGE DECREASE in frame
rate!!!! Wierd. It seems to recognize the video card fine but is
almost unplayable in high rez. I unloaded the univbe and it runs
better without it. (About like NASCAR) The game looks GREAT but I
would like to see the increase in frame rates that everyone is talking
about. With univbe, something is definately wrong here.
PS My copy of univbe 5.1 DOES NOT do this. It doesn't help the frame
rate in the Indycar2 demo, but it doesn't slow it to a crawl either.
Is this just the way it is or will this be fixed with the final
version?
