First save the message then go to [link lost in import] then pick go then pick quick search fill the form out with usenet then decode does not matter which program you pick then use the program to decode the saved message Putting cars in a set This part is by MentorCop You may have already gotten many responses, but here's mine anyway. First of all, don't mess with your original car set. Load up your nascar game and then exit from it to dos. You should have the nascar directory prompt. Think up a name for your new car set. Any name will do, but let's use "cars95" for this example. Type "paintkit cars95". It will tell you that this car set does not exist & ask you if you want to create it. Type "y". It will ask you one more question. Type "y" again. Then your computer will click away for a couple of minutes as it creates this new car set. Actually its just copying the original set. Once it's done it will put you into the paintkit for the new set. You'll notice that it is exactly the same as the original set, but this set you can change. To put new cars into it that you have you'll need to go into windows to your nascar directory. In that directory you'll see a bunch of .pcx files. Those are all of the cars. If you have a viewer that will show you these files it will help, but you don't need one. Look at the names of some of the .pcx files and then change your new car files to those same names. if they're already in your nascar directory then you'll have to delete each car file before you rename your new one to that same name. Remember the name before you delete it. Write it down & only do ONE AT A TIME. After your new cars have been changed to the new names your almost done. Here's an example: You downloaded a good skoal car, and you want to use it instead of the skoal car that came with your set. In the nascar directory you'll see a car named skoa_1.pcx. That is Rick Mast's car. Delete that file and then rename your skoal car to skoa_1.pcx. Then put that file into your nascar direstory if it isn't already there. Once your done go back into "paintkit cars 95" through dos. Once your in paintkit go through the cars until you reach one that you wanted to change. It will still show you the old car so go ahead a click on "select". Then click on "import". There you go! The new car should be there now. REMEBER to save it before you move on to another car. Otherwise it will not be there when you go back. You can always import it again though. Good luck!
