I am a big fan of Nascar Racing, and I love racing my buddy over the modem.
However, there is a problem. We both have Pentium 100, so there is never a
problem showing the whole pack on the screen. However, when we race over the
modem or serial connection, whoever is the "slave" computer only gets to see
the first 3 or four cars in front of him, while the master computer gets to see
all the cars in front of him. This is a huge problem in races such as Watkins
glen and Bristol, where you can suddenly be confronted with a 20 car pile up
and not know it until you hit the first car at 150 mph... <G>
Any ideas on what causes this? We upgraded to the latest version, 1.21,
