Lucky me, i've got some spare money, IC2 and F1GP2 are due soon, and my pc# wants a good steering wheel! I currently use thrustmaster joy annd throttle sticks so I was thinking of buying a T1, but have heard about some others recently.... could someone give me the prices and suppliers of; Extreme Driving system, and ProDrive whatever it is! I've only heard about the Prodrive in a post on this newsgroup but the poster thought it was the bollocks, so i'd like to find out how much it costs, and why it's so good. thanks in advance _________________________________________________________ Harrier Storage Solutions Legato NetWorker 42 Ivanhoe Road, Finchampstead AMASS, Baydel Berkshire, RG40 4QQ EuroLogic, Banyan http://www.harrier.com HP, IBM, Sun, Dec Uk Phone 1734 328 282 SG, NT, Novell Fax 731 130 _________________________________________________________

Those who wish to obtain information on a recognized seriously high grade driving system may wish to contact Extreme Competition Controls, Inc. The following are excerpts from a couple of recent magazine reviews. August 1995 Computer *** World "Being an admitted PC racing ***, I'm always searching for the best wheeled devices, and have played with quite a few. So it stands to reason that my forays into the world of "The Big Three" (NASCAR, Indycar Racing and World Circuit) are performed with steering wheel and pedals, right? Wrong. Until last week, the steering devices I've tried have been shelved time and time again. I say this not as an affront to their manufacturers, but simply because nothing I have tried has matched the simple precision of the CH Flightstick. But my driving environment recently experienced a radical, almost revolutionary, alteration. Extreme Competition Controls had just delivered their Competition Driving System, and after quickly freeing the CDS from its cardboard constraints, the unit was ready for some serious testing. So was I"........"And when the dust settled and the smoke cleared, my new***pit had set records, carved the uncarveable corner, and opened my eyes to a new level of realism. Without a doubt, Extreme's pedal and wheel combo is the best driving system I have ever tried. My Flightstick has been sulking in the corner ever since." October 1995 Strategy Plus: "The Competition Driving System is the product, and it does for the computer driver what graphite rackets did for tennis players - namely, make them a whole lot better. Thats quite a claim, yet in testing, the CDS consistently terminated the competition in all three of the genres top simulations (NASCAR Racing, World Circuit, and Indycar Racing), and it did better than any wheel, yoke, or joystick thats ever come across this desk"....."the unwavering steady drive and response of the CDS simply has no current peer."
